Gary Lee Moore
Gary Lee Moore, 53, Topeka, died Monday, May 28, 2007 at Midland Hospice House.
He was born Oct. 18, 1953 in Holton, the son of William L. and Martha Sheets Moore. He was raised in the Wetmore area and graduated from Wetmore High School. He attended a trade school in Emporia.
Gary worked at Dorothy's Kitchen in Topeka for 13 years.
He married Norma Schlesener on Oct. 8, 1994 in the Reinisch Rose Garden at Gage Park in Topeka. She survives.
Other survivors include his mother, Martha Moore of Topeka; brother, Steven Moore, Topeka, sister, Vickie Moore of Topeka, a twin brother, Larry Moore of rural Scranton, and his in-laws, Norman and Mary Alice Schlesener of Manhattan.
Cremation is planned. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm Friday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at 4:00 pm at Wetmore Cemetery.
