Gary Jay Mulford, 50, Topeka, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2009, peacefully at his home, following a courageous two year battle with cancer. He was surrounded with friends and family. He was born April, 20, 1959, in Topeka, the son of Gerald and Wilma Mulford.
Gary is survived by his wife: Sandy; and daughter Apryl; sons Brent and Scott; and two stepchildren; Joshua and Jordan Jansen, one brother; Victor Mulford, and his mother; Wilma Mulford. He was preceded in death by his father; Gerald J. Mulford.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, September 30, 2009, at Dove Funeral Home, 4020 SW Sixth Ave. Inurnment will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Heart of America Hospice, 3715 SW 29th, Suite 20, Topeka, KS 66614.
