Gary D. Sweet, 69, of Emporia, Kansas passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at a Topeka hospital. He was born July 27, 1950 in Admire, Kansas, the son of Raymond and Mable (Kincaid) Sweet.
Gary graduated from Northern Heights High School in Allen, Kansas. He was a Dairy Farmer and also employed as a truck driver.
Survivors include four nieces, Michelle Sweet of Topeka, Terri Papineau of Canada, Jacque Race of Canada, Shannon Edmonds of California and three nephews, Andrew Edmonds of Chicago, Illinois, Steve Gunter of Canada and Paul Sweet of Georgia.
Graveside inurment services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2020 at Admire Cemetery.
