Gary D. Timmons, Sr., 79, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at a Topeka hospital. He was born March 4, 1941 in Belvue, Kansas, the son of Melvin A. and Pearl R. (Heston) Timmons, Sr.
Gary was employed by Hallmark Cards for many years before retiring.
Gary married Leslie. She preceded him in death.
Survivors include Gary (Jenan) Timmons, Jr., of Surprise, Arizona, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his siblings, Barbara, Marcia, Judy, Shirley, Sharon and Karen.
Cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place in Wamego at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
