George Davidson

George R. Davidson, 60, Topeka, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007 after a long illness. He was born October 17, 1946 in Rapid City, SD, the son of Nellie Angle. George graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1965. He had worked for the State of Kansas Highway Dept. for several years, then was self-employed. George loved music and watching car races.
He is survived by; his daughter, Chelsea Davidson, Kansas City, MO, mother, Nellie Angle, Berryton, grandson, Van Davidson, sisters; Nancy Pressgrove, Topeka, and Elizabeth Keeling (Quentin), Olathe; nieces, Cindy (Dave) Buchanan and Abby Keeling. George also leaves aunts, uncles and many friends he considered family. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Angle, and nephew Ted Pressgrove.
Cremation has taken place. Friends may meet with family at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, Sunday, June 3, 2007 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 9, 2007 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 89th and SE Ratner Rd, Berryton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to the George Davidson Memorial Fund in care of Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave, Topeka, 66605, to an organization determined at a later date by the family, or to Berryton United Methodist Church, 6471 SE Berryton Rd, Berryton, KS 66409
