Georgia Ann Clarke

Georgia Ann Clarke, 83, of Topeka, passed away peacefully at Midland Hospice House, Saturday, January 25, 2020.

She was born May 31, 1936, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of George and Ethel (May) Clarke.

She graduated from Seaman High School and later went on to serve in the United States Army.

Georgia worked as a Certified Nurse's Aide for over 40 years. Georgia worked in Denver prior to returning to Topeka. Her most recent employer prior to retiring was at the Methodist Home in Topeka.

Survivors include a brother, Bill (Lynn) Clarke of Prescott, Arizona; a brother-in-law, Robert Worthington of Topeka, Kansas and her beloved dog, Charlie. She will be missed greatly by her nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews and the many friends she made during her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Worthington.

Georgia was a long time Denver Broncos fan and loved her Kansas Jayhawks. She also loved animals and her family and always treated then with love and respect.

Honoring Georgia's request, cremation is planned. The family will conduct their own services at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka.

Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, Kansas.
