Georgia L. Brown, 99, of Maple Hill, KS passed away Nov. 19, 2012 at the home of her daughter. She was born Oct. 4, 1913 to George and Mathilda Morgan at Springfield, Illinois.
She is survived by her sister, Juanita McWest and brother, James E. Morgan; 4 daughters, Arlene Bays, Carolyn Ezell, Joyce Figueroa, Dona Lee and her husband Levi; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great grandchildren.
She worked as a lab aid at Pontiac General Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan for 27 years. She retired in 1980 and moved to Kansas. She was a quilter, did embroidery, and enjoyed gardening.
A memorial service will be held November 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at Trinity Lutheran Church, 322 Main, McFarland, KS 66501. Inurnment will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
