Georgia "Marcella" (Eberting) Sell, 87, Topeka, Kansas, passed away Sunday, July 12, 2009 at a local care facility.
She was a sweet and loving person, a devoted wife, sister and aunt.
Marcella was born to George and Ethel (Pruessner) Eberting on July 22, 1921 in Leesville, MO and grew up on a farm near Coal, MO.
On September 30, 1939, she and Carl "Doc" Sell eloped with their best friends and were married in Mt. Vernon, MO. Most of their 68 years of marriage were lived in San Diego and Santee, CA. In 2003, they moved to Topeka to be near family. Carl passed away July 20, 2008.
Marcella is survived by a sister, Bonnie Burwell, Lee Summit, MO; two brothers, Calvin (Betty) Eberting, Topeka, KS, Lewis Eberting, Warrensburg, MO; and nieces and nephews.
Private graveside inurnment services are planned.
Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
