Gerald H. "Jerry" Stormann, 88, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022.
He was born July 2, 1933, in Howland, Maine, the son of Eugene E. and Leta E. (Spearrin) Stormann. He served in the United States Air Force from March 24, 1953, until being honorably discharged on March 25, 1957.
Jerry was employed various cement companies in Maine and Topeka until retiring.
Jerry married Mary Slusser. She preceded him in death on May 30, 1974. He married Fern Tucker in 1975. She preceded him in death on December of 2010. Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Stormann of Topeka and Rosemary (Todd) Cole of Auburn, KS; four sons, Tom (Susan) Stormann of Salt Lake City, UT, Gene (Penny) Stormann of Topeka, Jody Stormann of Topeka, and Bill Stormann of Topeka; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and his brother, Brian Stormann of Lincoln, ME.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Tina Howland; two sisters, Dory Tucker and Gayle Buck; and his brother, Merton "Pudgy" Stormann.
Jerry enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Honoring his request, cremation is planned. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
