Gerald "Jerry" Wiseman, 80, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017.
He was born October 28, 1937, in Wichita, Kansas, the son of Gerald and Ruth (Taylor) Wiseman.
Jerry was a 1955 graduate of Douglas High School in Douglas, Kansas and later attended K-State & Butler Co. Community College. He worked for Butler County Engineering, Beech Aircraft in Wichita, and retired from Westar Energy in 1993.
Jerry loved the outdoors, wildlife, and gardening. He also enjoyed fishing and baseball.
Jerry married Linda L. Barney on April 1, 1997, in Council Grove, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Amy (Harley) Douglas, Troy (Cindy) Wiseman, Christi LaForge, Gary Wiseman, and Bryan (Dawn) Pence; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn Kay (Ray) Ralston; and beloved pet, Barney.
He was preceded in death by parents.
Jerry was cremated and private services will be held at a later date.
