Geraldean Louise (Mathiesen) Graham, the daughter of David Carl Mathiesen and Francis Ida (Lehman) Mathiesen, was born July 23, 1933, at home in rural Nebraska, south of Chester, and passed away Friday, February 1, 2013, in Topeka, KS, at the age of 79 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Harold Louis Graham. Gerry is survived by one daughter: Cindie G. Webb and husband Don of Rowlett, TX; two sons: Steven Harold Graham and wife Rhonda of Topeka, KS, and Ron Graham; one sister: Norma Jean Brunsilius and one brother: Verdel Mathiesen; 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Hope Lutheran Church, Topeka, KS, with Pastor Troy Scroggins officiating. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. Geraldean will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 4, 2013, at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, Topeka. Memorial contributions may be given to Hope Lutheran Church, 2636 SE Minnesota Ave., Topeka, KS 66605.
