He was born February 15, 1971, in Santo Domingo, Mexico, the son of Juan De La Torre Jauregui and Maria Isabel Castro Navarro.
Gerardo was the owner and operator of Pancho's and was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Topeka.
Survivors include his wife, Silvia Morales Monsivais of the home; his children, Yulisa De La Torre and Gerardo De La Torre, Jr.; his siblings, Juan (Maria Del Rosario) De La Torre Castro of Mexico, Maria Isabel (Jesus Hernandez) De La Torre of Casper, WY, Blanca (Rogelio) D Rodriquez of Casper, WY, Martha De La Torre of Mexico, Servando De La Torre Castro of Topeka, KS, Fernando (Claudia) De La Torre Castro of Casper, WY and Israel De La Torre Castro of Mexico.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am., Monday, July 11, 2022 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 201 NE Chandler, Topeka, KS 66616. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 801 SW Westchester Rd, Topeka, KS 66606.
A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022 and on Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave., Topeka, KS 66605. The family will greet and receive friends from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturday, July 9, 2022 and Sunday, July 10, 2022 at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southeast Chapel.
