Gertrude Brodhag

Gertrude I. Brodhag, 93, of Topeka, passed away May 22, 2012. She was born at Lecompton, Kansas to Bruce E. and Laura I. Hoad. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1938 and was employed as a certified dental assistant for over 30 years in the office of Dr. G.A. Wempe, Sr. She retired in 1979. She was a member of The First United Methodist Church. She married John Wm. Brodhag, Jr. on Nov. 4, 1961. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by a niece, Cindy Hoad, and nephews, Brent and Craig Hoad.

Mrs. Brodhag was cremated. A memorial service will be held at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service Chapel on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00PM.
Inurnment will take place at Topeka Cemetery at a later date.
