Gladys Thompson Brandt, 91, of Topeka, passed away August 23, 2011. She was born at Elsmore, Kansas to Fred and Clara M. (Miller) Thompson on September 15, 1919. She moved to Topeka in 1942 and married Patrick Brandt on October 23, 1943. He preceded her in death in 1986. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Beamer, and her granddaughter, Jessica Brownell.
She is survived by her sister, Nina Johnson of Iola, KS ; one granddaughter, Jamie (John) Anderson, Fort Polk, LA; 3 great-granddaughters and 1 great-grandson. The inurnment service will be private at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery.
