Glenn A. Combs, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at a Topeka hospital. He was born on November 4, 1949 in Osage County in Oklahoma.
Glenn graduated from Nathan Hale High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma and earned a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Oklahoma State University. He owned and operated Chem Engineering Services in Monroe, Louisiana. He also was a stained-glass artist. He had resided in Monroe and moved to Topeka in 2023.
Glenn married Debbie J. Campbell on May 30, 2020 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include two step-children, Ronald (Becky) Campbell of Topeka and Jenny (Brennan) Wilcox of Topeka, five step-grandchildren, Kayle (Jarrod), Parker (Alec), Sarah (Jacob), Alex and Aidan. Also surviving are his siblings, Kay (Myron) Biggs of Monroe, Georgia, Suena (Jeff) Olson of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Vivian Kouplen of Tulsa, Oklahoma.
A Celebration of Glenn's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at the Eastside Baptist Church where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 4425 SE 29th St., Topeka, Kansas 66605.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
