Glenn Elvin Hailey, cherished family man and respected member of his community, passed away on February 20, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas, at the age of 92. Born on September 20, 1932, in Seneca, Kansas, Glenn led a life rich in experiences, accomplishments, and joyful moments.

Glenn dedicated over 30 years to the United States Postal Service, where he not only served the public but also committed himself to advocacy for postal workers. His active involvement in the American Postal Workers Union was notable, and he took great pride in serving as president for many years. Glenn's work ethic and dedication left a lasting impact on his colleagues and the organization.

In his younger years, Glenn honed his skills as a carpenter, crafting numerous homes in the Topeka area alongside his father and brothers, laying the foundation for a future where he would become a devoted family man. His military service as a Korean War veteran in the Air Force exemplified his commitment to his country.

Glenn was known for his joyful spirit and social nature. He loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed spending time with friends over a couple beers. His enthusiasm for life was evident in his fondness for singing, his love of golf. He enjoyed the companionship of his dogs especially while watching tv.

Above all, Glenn's proudest accomplishment was his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Norris, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage. He leaves behind his children, Gail (Darrell) Miller, Glenda (Mark Scheid) Herl, Doug Hailey, Gina (Joe) Tenbrink, and Jennifer (Cliff Van Vleck) Falley. His legacy continues through his six grandchildren, Sarah Reichart, Jared Herl, Scott Miller, Lindsay Tenbrink, Kyle Tenbrink, and Jordan Falley, as well as five great-grandchildren, Henry Reichart, Amaya Herl, Gus Reichart, Malia Herl,Leigha Miller, MacKoy Miller and Finn Falley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Sadie Hailey. Glenn leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, cherished by all who had the privilege to know him. He will be greatly missed and forever remembered in the hearts of his family and friends.
