Glenn Odell, 75, of Meriden passed away on August 1, 2017. Born November 21, 1941, in Brooks, Iowa, he was the son of Clifford and Mildred Odell.
Glenn was a graduate of Corning High School, Corning, Iowa.
He was drafted into the Army and served for two years.
Glenn married Marj Aspholm on October 21, 1967. They would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary this year.
He enjoyed his grandchildren; spending time attending every game, birthday and school function that he could. He was fun-loving and had the ability to talk to anybody he met. Glenn loved being outside and tinkering around the farm. He had an infectious laugh, big smile and a generous heart.
Glenn was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Odell.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Tami Scott, a son Thomas (Christine) Odell, five grandchildren; Macy, Ainsley, Boede, Colten, and Levi, three surrogate grandchildren; Kayla, Lauren, and Regan Snyder, a sister, Carol (Bud) Thomas, one niece and three nephews.
