Gloria Reyes, 66, Topeka, died Friday, March 13, 2009 at her home.
She was born June 29, 1942 in San Bernardino, CA, the daughter of Guadalupe and Margaret Aguirre. She graduated from San Bernardino High School and came to Topeka in 1992.
Gloria was a CMA/HHA, and worked for Rolling Hills Assisted Living.
She was a member of Light of the World Christian Center.
She married Severo Reyes on August 24, 1963 in San Bernardino. He survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Diane (Jeff) Linn of Escondido, CA and Linda (Loren) Brandt of Omaha; a brother, Richard Aguirre of San Bernardino; a sister, Eileen Resendez of Topeka; and six grandchildren, Cassandra Garza, Ian Brandt, Ashley Linn, Stephanie Linn, Lane Brandt, and Zack Brandt.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Light of the World Christian Center with burial in Green Acres Memorial Park Cemetery, Bloomington, CA.
Gloria will lie in state after noon Monday at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m.
