Grace I. Johnson
Grace I. Johnson, 84, of Topeka,Kansas passed away November 25, 2010. She was born on October 2, 1926 to Jesse and Lulu (Griffee) Swank at Welch, Oklahoma. Grace was raised in Denison, Kansas. She married Ervin M. Johnson on December 5, 1942 at Holton, Kansas. He preceded her in death.
Grace was employed by Luce Press as a supervisor. She enjoyed reading and raising her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Carole (Paul) Zirkle, Auburn, Kansas, and Linda (Gerald) Foster, Topeka; one son, Ervin L. Johnson, also of Topeka; grandchildren, Debra Johnson, Marsha (George) Hicks, Didi (Tommy) Bartwell, Brandon Johnson, Dani (Josh) Odom; 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. One grandson, Chad Zirkle preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be held at West Lawn Memorial Garden on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 10:00 am.
