Grace M. Moss, 93, Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Aldersgate Village.
Grace was born July 20, 1914 in Stull, the daughter of Hedley and Sophie (Scheer) Gilder. She grew up in Lawrence and resided there until her marriage to Robert M. Moss on March 5, 1933.
She was employed at Weaver's Department Store in Lawrence until 1946 when they moved to Topeka.
She was a member of I.O.O.F. in Lawrence.
Survivors include son, Robert H. Moss and wife, Lois, Wellsville; daughter, Gayle Alejos and husband, Steven, Topeka; grandchildren, Aaron and Alex Alejos and Rob Moss; great-grandchildren, Tori and Preston Moss. Her husband preceded her in death on February 15, 1986.
Cremation has taken place, and a gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road.
