Gregory "Greg" N. Kinsch, 61, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022 in the ICU at St. Francis Hospital after a long battle with heart failure.
He was born June 12, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of David and Virginia (Denney) Kinsch. He attended Topeka High School and graduated in 1979.
Greg was employed by the Groendyke Transport, Martin Tractor Company and various other transportation companies throughout northeast Kansas as a Professional CDL Truck Driver.
He had a passion for music, especially rock music. Greg was a talented guitar player and enjoyed building and working on guitars in his spare time. He was in the band "So What" and other local bands as the lead guitar player. Greg also enjoyed learning about space exploration. He loved animals, especially dogs and cats and loved watching comedy movies and shows. Greg taught himself about computer technology off of various YouTube videos and would often tinker with computers. He played video games and took pride in teaching his nieces and nephews to play as well.
Greg is survived by his mother, Virginia Kinsch; siblings, Debbie Steers, , Doug Kinsch and John (Kathy) Kinsch; nieces and nephews, Jimi, Beth, Logan, Mindie, Jay, Janelle, Jake and Adam.
He was preceded in death by his Father, David L. Kinsch; siblings, David "Mike" Kinsch and Brenda Dolan.
A graveside service will take place at a later date. In Greg's honor, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st, Topeka, KS 66604.
