Greta Mae Swan, 98, Topeka, died Sunday, July 15, 2007 at Lexington Park Nursing Center.
She was born Oct. 4, 1908 in Topeka, the daughter of Charles and Alta Stuart Hawk. She lived in Shawnee County all of her life until moving into Topeka in 1985.
Mrs. Swan was a member of Oakland Christian Church.
She married Albert F. Swan on Dec. 7, 1933 in Lyndon. He died July 19, 1985.
She is survived by her foster family, Max and Doris Metzger and their children and three cousins.
Mrs. Swan will lie in state from noon until 9:00 pm Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel. Private entombment will be in Mt. Hope Mausoleum.
