She was born August 10, 1936, in Rutland Township, Kansas, the daughter of Elmer C. and Agnes Pauline (Tyler) Main.

She loved being around children and any opportunity to spend time with them - especially her granddaughter Sydney.

Survivors include her significant other Roger McDonald of Neodesha; step-daughter Cheri Quanstrom (Rob Wilson) of Topeka, step-son Jeff McDonald (Amy) of Girard; and her step-grandchildren Noah Quanstrom, Ashley McDonald, Marcy McDonald and Eli Quanstrom. She was preceded in death by her siblings.
Gwen's wishes were to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held in Neodesha at a future date. Memorial contributions may be made to Skiatook Paws and Claws Animal Rescue, Inc. 4605 W C Rogers Blvd, Skiatook, OK 74070.
