H. Barbara Johnson, 82, of Topeka, passed away September 2, 2016.
Barbara was born May 28, 1934, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the daughter of William and Henrietta (Buerschinger) Panure. She was a 1952 graduate of Saint Joseph's Academy in Green Bay and on September 9, 1979, she married John Johnson. He preceded her in death in December of 2012.
Barbara was an avid Packer fan her entire life and enjoyed watching any football game.
Barbara is survived by daughter, Amy (Chris) Corbin; sons, Allen (Sara) Johnson and Bruce (Lupe) Johnson; sister, Mary Zingler; grandchildren, Eric and Jessica Johnson, Cody (Tim) Robb, and Barry and Crystal Christenson; many great-grandchildren; and her loving dog and companion, Squirt.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Bill and Richard Panure.
Barbara was cremated and at her request no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to Aldersgate Village Employee Christmas Fund, 7220 SW Asbury Drive, Topeka, Kansas 66614. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service is assisting the family.
