Harold Allen Hague

Harold Allen Hague, 93, of Carbondale, passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023.

He was born January 16, 1930, in Des Moines, Iowa, the son of John William and Eunice M. (Mason) Hague. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1948 and attended Drake University.

Harold was employed by Goodyear as an accountant for 30 years, retiring in 1986.

Harold married Victoria Murphy on July 2, 1948 in Des Moines. She survives, along with his children Randy Hague (Linda) of Topeka, Kimberly Calvin (Jerry) of Carbondale and Kerry Hague of Osage City; grandchildren Neil Hague (Melissa), Tonya Snyder (Jason), Naomi Chavez (Joseph), Bradley Hague, William Hague, Patty McAdam (Ted), Chad Calvin, Jenny Iverson, and Jeffrey Calvin; 17 great-grandchildren; his daughter-in-law Maxine Hague and his sister-in-law Alice Raymond. He was preceded in death by his son Andy Hague on April 2, 2023.

Harold enjoyed RVs, camping, woodworking, reading and dancing.

Harold was cremated. A joint memorial ceremony with his son Andy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4th at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road in Topeka. There will be a reception following the service at the Dove Southwest Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
