Harold Bruce Hibbs, 72, of Topeka, passed away, Friday, June 24, 2011.
He was born January 23, 1939 in Hays, KS the son of Harold and Carolyn (Stielow) Hibbs.
Bruce resided at Sheltered Living and worked at T.A.R.C. many years.
He is a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his mother; one brother, Roger (Janet) Hibbs, Topeka; one nephew, Gregory (Cindy); Goddard, KS and two great nieces, Clara and Grace.
Bruce will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday June 28 at the Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. A funeral ceremony will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday at the Highland Park United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Highland Park United Methodist Church or to Sheltered Living.
