Hazel M.Harrop Zlotkin

Hazel M. Harrop Zlotkin, 71, of Berryton, passed away on Thursday, June 23, 2005 at a Topeka care facility. She was born on January 1, 1934 in Berryton, the daughter of Ross and Rachel Browning Harrop. She graduated from Overbrook High School. She resided in Daly City, California for 40 years before returning to Berryton in 1992 where she had resided since. She married Harry L. Zlotkin on March 26, 1953 in San Francisco, CA. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1991. Survivors include one daughter, Bonnie M. Zlotkin of Berryton, five brothers and three sisters. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Mrs. Zlotkin will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday evening.
