Heather Paige Herrmann, 17, of Berryton, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2005 as a result of a traffic accident that occured in Iowa. She was born on September 1, 1987 in Topeka, the daughter of William E. and Debra K. Henderson Herrmann. She would have been a senior at Shawnee Heights High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society. She was a member of the Shawnee Heights High School yearbook staff and was a class officer of the Spirit Club. Heather was active in soccer and basketball. She enjoyed riding her convertable and motorcycle. Heather was a member of Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church. She was employed by Shawnee County Parks and Recreation at the Lake Shawnee Marina and was also a soccer referee. She also had worked at Maggie Moo's Ice Cream & Yougurt. Survivors include her parents, Bill and Debbie Herrmann of Berryton, one brother, Chad Herrmann of the home, grandparents, Juanita Herrmann of Topeka, formerly of Berryton, Bob and Janis Henderson of Topeka, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and her boyfriend, Ryan Conley. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Heather will lie in state after noon Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.
