Heidi Cornelia Webb

Heidi Cornelia Webb, 57, of Topeka,Kansas, formerly of San Antonio, TX and State College, PA passed away Monday, April 20, 2015. She was born February 23, 1958, in Corvallis, Oregon, the daughter of Vernon and Helga (Dietrich) Lee.
Heidi earned her Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Southwest Texas State University in 1994 and her Master's Degree in Computer Science in 1998 from St. Mary's University. She received her Doctorate in Computer Science from the College of Information Sciences and Technology at Penn State University in 2013.
Heidi was employed by Emporia State University as a Professor of Computer Science.
Heidi married Dennis Webb on May 25, 1978 in Corvallis, OR. He survives. She is also survived by her sons, Christopher and Nicholas Webb; daughter-in-law Tara Webb; parents, Vernon and Helga Lee; brothers: Chris, Mark, Gary, Michael and Glen Lee; grandchildren: Liam and Nora Webb; sisters-in-law: Cheryl Webb, Melissa Backenstose Lee and Jessie Lee; brother-in-law David Dunaway; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Heidi enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crafting, reading and watching NASCAR.
Heidi was cremated. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Shepard of the Hills Lutheran Church, 6914 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78240.
