Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE. for 8 years. She then worked as a supervisor cook at the youth center in
Kearney NE from 1962 to 1973 from where she retired. She was married to Theodore Pierce from 1932 to 1960.
He preceded her in death in 1960. She then married Ervin Ackerman in 1965 and her preceded her in death in
1984. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Kearney NE. She was a lifetime member of the Rebekah
Lodge #12 of Kearney, NE.
