Helen I. Koppa, 71, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at a Topeka hospital. She was born July 16, 1951 in Fort Scott, Kansas, the daughter of Clark and Georgia (Barrett) Howard.
Helen attended Fort Scott High School. She had resided in Topeka since 1997. She was employed by Jostens Yearbook Company for several years before retiring. She loved to play Bingo.
Helen married Donnie J. Koppa on June 18, 1969 in Nevada, Missouri. He survives. Other survivors include one son, Dwight (Katy) Koppa of Liberty, Missouri.
A Celebration of Helen's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
