Helen L. (Waetzig) Brock, 63, Topeka, passed away Feb. 25, 2012. She was born to James Robert and Georgia Mae (Hill) Waetzig on Aug. 2, 1948. She was raised in Carbondale, KS. She attended Kaw Area Vocational School and completed the Licensed Practical Nursing program. She worked for many years as an LPN at Eventide Convalescent Center before retiring. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and crocheting.
She married Lester F. Brock on May 7, 1966 at Carbondale, KS. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James R. Waetzig. Helen is survived by her sons, James L. Brock and Jerry L. Brock (Angel); 2 grandchildren, Caleb and Kyler; 4 sisters; and 1 brother.
Inurnment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Berryton, KS. The services are pending. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, KS 66601.
