Helen Mae Ward, 81, Topeka, died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Rolling Hills Health Center.
She was born July 22, 1924 in Corning, the daughter of Roy and Alberta Mayhew Hunt. She had lived in Topeka since 1948.
She married Roy Ward on April 16, 1941 in Junction City. He died June 23, 1991.
Survivors include a son, Larry Dean Ward, Osage City; two daughters, Pamela Lee Been, Topeka and Penny Lou Hagler, Little Elm, TX; 13 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter, and one great-great grandchild on the way.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Monday at Newcomer Family Funeral Home.
