Background:
Mrs. England graduated from Highland Park High School in 1931. She then taught school for 3 years at Benham School. She and her husband farmed in the Topeka area before moving to the Lake of the Ozarks for 30 years. She received many baking awards while living there. They returned to Topeka in 2002 where she was a homemaker. Mrs. England loved water skiiing and continued to enjoyed that
sport until her mid 80's.
She was a charter member of the Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday School and was a member of the Women's Missionary Society.

Service: Services will be at 11:00 a.m, Monday, March 10, 2003 at Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church.

Burial: Bethel Cemetery in Tecumseh, KS

Visitation: Mrs. England will lie in state at Penwell-Gabel Highland Chapel after 2:00 p.m. on Sunday where the family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m.
