Henry H. Hupp, 90, of Topeka, died on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Midland Hospice House.
Henry was born on August 18, 1924 near Overbrook the son of Henry and Ada (Kelley) Hupp. He graduated from Overbrook High School.
He was joined in marriage to Mildred E. Shirley on January 18, 1947; she preceded him in death on August 16, 2014.
Henry worked for many years as an electrician for Santa Fe Railway in Topeka. He was a member of the Arab Shrine. After his retirement, he spent many years working on small engines and lawnmowers for friends and family. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his son, Greg (Connie) Hupp; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hupp; five grandchildren, Kelly (Todd) Foos, Sara (J.D.) Warnock, Ian (Kirsten) Hupp, Caitlin Hupp, Sam Hupp and two great-grandchildren, Elsa and Max.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, son Douglas Hupp, three brothers, Earl, Floyd, and Claude Hupp and one sister, Marie Pointer.
The family will receive friends at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel from 6:00-8:00p.m. on Thursday, March 12. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 13 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery in Topeka.
