Herbert Clyde Katt, 83, of Topeka, passed away May 4, 2014. He was born at Grand Haven, Michigan on October 9, 1930 to Herbert Peter Katt and Sarah Gifford Pedelty Katt.
Herbert served in the US Army. After he relocated to Topeka, Kansas he was employed by the YMCA in maintenance. He was baptized at Open Way Church of North Topeka. He loved to work very difficult crossword puzzles and was an avid baseball fan.
Herbert is survived by many cousins and three sons.
A closed memorial service will be held at Landmark Apartments. A Celebration of Life will be held at the downtown YMCA chapel, 421 SW Van Buren St. Topeka, KS 66603, on May 11, 2014 at 4:30PM.
