Ignacio "Neechee" Guerrero, 70, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2014. He was born August 25, 1943, in Topeka, the son of Joe and Mary Guerrero.
"Neechee" worked for the Sunflower Ammunition Plant, Goodyear, Reeser's, and most recently, an asbestos removal company.
"Neechee" is survived by his wife, Donna; daughter, Shelly Guerrero; sons, Joe "Poncho" Guerrero and Michael Guerrero; step-children, Tracy Gamino and Michael Larsen; 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 grandson.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 S.W. 6th Avenue, in Topeka. Cremation will follow the ceremony. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
