Iris M. Cooke, 92, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at a Topeka hospital. She was born August 22, 1928 in Kidderminster, England.
Iris came to the United States in 1958. She was employed by Gage Animal Hospital. She was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge Auxiliary and the Dommie Dance Academy.
Iris married Ronald D. Cooke. He preceded her in death in 2017. She was also preceded in death by two brothers.
Survivors include two children, Gary (Kay) Cooke of Topeka, Harley (Vicky) of Topeka, three grandchildren, Harley, Jr., Sharon and Jennifer, three great-grandchildren, Ethan, Adrian and Benjamin and her sister, Margaret.
Cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas, 66604.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
