Irma Jean "Jeannie" (Wooster) Stidham, 79, of Topeka, Kansas passed away September 19, 2015. Jeannie was born on April 27, 1936 in Salina, Kansas. She was the daughter of George and Florence (Trow) Wooster. George owned both a barbershop and a real estate company from the 1940's through the 1960's in Salina.
Jean married Gerald C. Stidham in 1959. They were later divorced. She worked in retail sales at Pellitiers Woman's Boutique, as a realtor for Kirk and Cobb Real Estate and as a case manager for Shawnee Community Mental Health Center.
Jean is survived by her daughter Jan Stidham Cavalieri and her son-in-law William; grandchild, Elizabeth Unrein; four step-grandchildren: William Cavalieri (Mandi), Carrie Calhoon (Matthew), Cassie Cavalieri Wagoner (Sam) and Michael Cavalieri; and many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: John Wooster, JoAnne Sundgren and Pat Keever; her son James George Stidham; and recently by her beloved cat "Scat Cat" and dog "Willie" who were her constant and devoted companions for the last 17 years.
Visitation will be held at Mt. Hope Mausoleum Chapel in Mt. Hope Cemetery on September 28, 2015 beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service scheduled to being at 2:00 p.m.
