Irvin Hoffman, 85, of Topeka, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020.
He was born July 17, 1935, in Monroe Center, Illinois, the son of Walter and Wilhemina (Hackbert) Hoffman. He attended Indiana Technical College and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics. He later returned to Trinity Evangelical Divinity Seminary and received a Master's Degree in Divinity.
After graduating, he worked with computers until he was the Lead Pastor in his hometown.
Irv also owned and operated Innovative Consulting Services in Hutchinson, Kansas and traveled across the U.S.
Irv was a member of CrossPoint Church where he and Pat were involved in numerous ministries.
Irvin married Patricia Anderson on June 1, 1957 in Rockford, Il . She preceded him in death on November 5, 2016. Survivors include daughters, Tiffany Bodenhamer, Jennifer McCrory, Julie McLaughlin; son, Christopher Hoffman; grandchildren, Beth Rankin, Melissa Newton, Brittney Stoddard, Holly McCrory, Tyler Bodenhamer, Andrew Hoffman, Katie Roberts, and Emily Bodenhamer; great grandchildren, Rebecca, Madison, Charlie, and Elliot and brother, Roger Hoffman. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
