Jackie G. Lewis

Jackie G. Lewis, 71, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. She was born March 7, 1953 in St. Paul, Minneosta, the daughter of John and Marylin (Taylor) Davenport.

Jackie graduated from Hoyt High School and attended Highland Community College and Emporia State University. She was employed as the Clerk of the District Court for Shawnee County for over 40 years before retiring. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Survivors include children, Ann (Roger) Easter of Topeka, Jon (Katherine) Lewis of Lincoln, Nebraska, Cory (Melanie) Lewis of Topeka, twelve grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and her brother, John (Becky) Davenport of Topeka.

Jackie was preceded in death by her two siblings.

Graveside inurnment services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 10, 2025 at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hoyt, Kansas. 

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
