Jackie "Jack" E. Shupe, 86, Topeka, passed away December 20, 2020.
He was a truck driver with Wilson Freight, Churchill Truck Lines, Consolidated Freight, ABF & other lines in Topeka, retiring July 1, 1994 after forty-two years in the trucking industry. He was a member of the Teamster Union #696 and Retirees since 1951. After retirement, he enjoyed working part time for Ed Bozarth Chevrolet.
He was married to Janet L. Thomas on January 7, 1956 at Holton, she survives.
Survivors include children, Eugenia (Karl) Wiggins, of Topeka, Leina (Rocky) Cox, of Topeka, Martin (Brenda) Shupe, of Owasso, OK and Zanetta (Stan) Aubry, of Imperial, MO, daughter-in-law, Patty Shupe; 10 grandchildren, Christopher (Lindsay) Wiggins, Jessica Wiggins (Nick) Unverferth, Ty (Liz) Cox, Paul (Amanda) Cox, Levi (Chelsea) Shupe, Amber Shupe Beck, Cortney Shupe (Kevin) Walter, Raina Shupe, Megan Aubry (Scott) Herman, Brody Aubry; two step-grandchildren, Becky (David) Headrick and Joey Stephens; 12 great-grandchildren, Juliet Wiggins, August Unverferth, Carter and Elise Cox, Wyatt and Kinley Cox, Annie and Maggie Shupe, Ethan Lamantia and Aspyn Beck, Garrett and Addison Herman; a step-great-grandson, Derrik Headrick; two brothers, Glenn Shupe, Fresno, CA and Gary (Mary) Shupe, Holton; and his sister, Barbara (Bernard) Sherrer, Topeka. He was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Leon Shupe and a sister, Betty Nott LaFond.
A private graveside service will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Topeka. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
