Jackie Vinton Conard, 84, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015. He was born November 27, 1930 in Newton, Kansas, the son of Bert and Essie Maude (Tiday) Conard. He was raised in and graduated from high school in Larned, Kansas.
Jackie was a mechanic and handyman his entire life.
Survivors include a daughter, Jacqueline Curtis, and her husband, Jerry of Topeka; step-sons, Gordon Smith and his wife, Trudy of Hutchinson and Ivan Smith of Great Bend; step-daughters, Connie Smith of Hays and Sharlene Marinhagen and her husband, Jim of Westfall; grandchildren, Kelsie Keleher and her husband, Chris of Topeka, Kira Curtis of Lawrence and Madison of Topeka; and a great-grandson, Graham Kelcher of Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Jack Conard of Larned, KS.
Jackie was cremated. No services are scheduled at this time. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service in Topeka is assisting the family.
