Jacqueline Marie Harper, 78, Topeka, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at a local care home.
Jacque was born December 24, 1941 in Topeka, the daughter of Joseph and Patricia (Eakes) Schiefelbein. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1959.
She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and Frank Sinatra music.
She was a member of CS chapter of PEO and First Presbyterian Church.
Jacque married John L. Harper, Sr. in 1960. He died April 27, 2015.
She is survived by a son, John L. Harper, Jr. and his wife Annette of Topeka; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Harper True and her husband Scott of Eureka, Missouri; three grandchildren, Michelle Harper, Christopher Harper, both of Topeka and Eric True of Eureka, Missouri; and sisters, Patricia Jo Schiefelbein and Adele Kress and husband, Richard, all of Topeka.
A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Wanamaker Woods Church of the Nazarene. Private Graveside services will be held at Topeka Cemetery.
