Jacqueline Joyce Price, 91, Topeka, died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Aldersgate Village.
Jacqueline was born October 11, 1925 in Covington, OK, the daughter of Merl and Carolyn (Gage) Atterbery.
The family moved to White Oak, TX where Jackie graduated from high school. She worked for a telephone company and also joined a Cadet Nurse Corps in Shreveport, LA.
She married Herbert Wingert in 1946. They divorced. She married Kenneth Williams in 1971. He preceded her in death. She married Jack R. Price in 1996, who also preceded her in death.
Jackie was the Administrator for Mid-America Nursing Center at Downs, KS for 25 years. In 1979 she received an Associate degree in Gerontology from Barton County Community College.

She was a member of First Southern Baptist Church, Topeka, and a Charter member of Kansas Health Care Association. She was honored to be named Queen for a Day on her 90th birthday at Arbor Court Retirement Community of Topeka.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Ted Atterbery. Survivors include her sons, Dan (Diane) Wingert, Kennewick, WA, Dennis Wingert, Lubbock, TX; daughter, Sunnye (R.J.) Condit, Topeka; granddaughters, Carrie (Jake) Arnett, Jennifer McDaneld; and great-grandchildren, Owen and Allison Arnett.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. Burial will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 7, 2017.
