James Bickell, Jr.

James A. Bickell, Jr., of Topeka, passed away April 13, 2015. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on December 26, 1944. He grew up in Topeka, Kansas. He served in the US Marines. He was a self-taught bench jeweler who loved to sing. He retired from Kansas Sand and Concrete.
James was preceded in death by his father James A. Bickell, Sr. He is survived by his mother Millie Lang (Earl); daughter Angela Bickell; son James M. Bickell (Julie); grandson Michael Bickell; siblings: Mike Bickell, Vickie Lynch (Keith), Jayme Burdiek (Ed), Jodi Bryant, Linda Drake, Bud Lang, and Teena Kurtz.
Memorial services will be held on April 20, 2015 at Mt. Hope Mauseoleum Chapel at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
