James E. Hicks, 76, Topeka, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014, at Midland Care. He was born October 24, 1937, in Lincoln, Nebraska.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carol (Massey) Hicks. Other survivors include daughter, Pam Craig (Keevin) of Topeka; sons, Darrin Hicks of Topeka and Jimmy Hicks (Terri) of Meriden; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, David Hicks.
Mr. Hicks was cremated and private services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
