James Matheny
James D. Matheny, 62, of Topeka passed away on Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at the Colmery O'Neil Hospital.
He was born in Akron, OH on March 17, 1945, the son of John and Lilian (Davis) Matheny.
James married Caroline Dominguez on July 27, 1968 in K.C., KS.
James is survived by his wife, Caroline, of the home, three daughters, Charline Matheny, Mary Ann and husband, Artemus Lewis, both of Topeka; Patricia and her husband, Anthony Henderson of Garland, TX; one sister, Carol Lee of OH and eight grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, James David Matheny, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m., at Leavenworth National Cemetery.
