Jamie Gibson Welter, 59, Sabetha, passed away on Saturday, December 8, 2012. She was born on September 21, 1953 in Topeka to James William Gibson and Lila (Megason) Hazlett.
On December 5, 1986, she married Michael Welter in Topeka. He survives. She is also survived by her son, Mark Gibson Payne; mother, Lila Hazlett; two granddaughters, Tori and Zoe Payne; two sisters, Billie Hall and Lila Mertz; one brother, TJ Gibson; nephews, Jason Schnellbacher, Andy Mertz and Grady Hall; nieces Chelsea Mertz and Sarah Hall and numerous other relatives and friends.
Private services will be held at Mt. Hope Cemetery. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service is assisting the family will services.
