Jane A. Clelland, 64, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2015 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born November 8, 1950 in Horton, KS, the daughter of Alvin and Frieda Oltjen Wolfe.
Jane graduated from Hiawatha High School and earned a Master's Degree in Math from Washburn University in Topeka. She was Math Teacher in the U.S.D. 501 School District and a text book consultant for Houghton Mifflin Publishing Company. Jane and her husband owned and operated a McDonald's franchise in Wamego, KS. She was an active member of the Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Bell Choir and served on various committees.
Jane married Bob Clelland on December 18, 1971 in Hiawatha, KS. He survives. Other survivors include their children, B.J. Clelland and fiancée Ashley Loe of Overland Park, KS, Bethany Hendricks of Topeka, four grandsons, A.J., Gavin, Devin and Kayden and her siblings, Roger Wolfe of Hiawatha, Mary Schroff of Petal, MS, and Carolyn Colvin of Columbia, MO.
Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
